After a heavy book, emotionally heavy that is, I need something lite. The Four Winds, by Kristen Hannah killed me this summer! I'm almost finished two other emotional reads and I'm switching to something fluffy next!

Here are a few of my favorite genres. I'm what you call a mood reader and I swap genres like socks. Are you a mood reader? Do you any of these genres?

NaNoWriMo winner! Take a listen to my writing process. Also, pajama day is a good day.

In November we write 50,000 words. Any writer willing to take on the job will jump in. It's called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and I'm shockingly at 46,779 words written in November. My first book was around 117,000 words to give you an example on length. Us scifi writers make long books 😁

Do people still take taxis? I use to flag them down in Baltimore and New York like a pro. It was rather fun. Unless your one of the victims in Magnatized. This story is direct narrative with a serial killer and its chilling how normal he seems at times, and how detached he is from what he did. I found myself feeling sorry for the murderer. He certainly did not have a healthy up bringing.

Me trying to read or write in peace, and my sweet daughter just can't seem to leave me alone.
