The Life of Pi

The Life of Pi was a fantastic book I read about three years ago. Pi is a likable character I was instantly drawn to. His family set sail to cross the ocean with their zoo animals. Sadly, the boat sinks and Pi is stranded on a life boat with several animals.

This book sucked me in so fast! Thanks for the recommendation @melenebraxton . I can't put it down. Last book read was a romance. Currently reading a fantasy. I think I'll have to try a thriller or horror next. Genre flipper, at your service 🤣😉
Chincoteague Island, VA steals my heart another year. I did zero writing, but managed to read my friend @amberperezwriter book, Shay's Gamble. I'm not a lesbian or romance genre reader, but when my friend writes a sweet, lusty book, I go outside of my regular reading zone. Really enjoyed this easy beachy read full of hope, steam, and even a few tears. Plus some wild Vegas fun!
My daughter took this picture of me. I love finding unexpected things like this. I'm watching the world burn behind these glasses, or i see my son acting like a goof. Or maybe all of these things are happening at once.
All the tears! What book made you cry? I feel like someone should have warned me ahead of time. Where the Red Fern grows also got me as a youngster.
Don't hold onto my book, please. Pass it on. Stick it in a free library. Add it to a community center's collection. Indie authors could always use a little help stretching out.
