Published in 1971. James and the Giant Peach has always been a favorite of mine. My teacher read into the class when I was probably eight years old, and I remember picturing the peach and James so clearly. Roald Dahl has so many classics that are still in production, including The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Matilda, and The Witches.
Book recommendations! Send em to me. I'm going to a wedding south of London, and I'd love a book with a London or UK scene. Sci-fi or fantasy welcome. Lit fic, comedy, drama, all good fits. Not really looking for a romance, but I love a romantic subplot. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry, Lorax! 😭 I have a few plot holes I need to get my fingers on, and while I don't print out every manuscript, I think this time it's a necessity. I promise to plant a tree every time I do this! As a literal tree hugger, I'm appalled with myself.
