Stayed up late to finish a book.
When your book club likes a book that isn't quite working for you, what do you do? I pushed through to almost the end, but I finally realized I'm not the target audience for this particular Becca Syme craft book. I'm not a full-time writer, and I'm not sure if that's my goal. I've never in my life considered publishing a book a month, and I don't pay much attention to what's hot on the market because I write for fun. Sure, I'd like to break even or make a few extra dollars, but this isn't about leaving a Stephen King size legacy for me.
Happy launch day to me! This is Salt Rush, the third installment in the Lazarus City series. Three down, one to go. What's the big deal with this one?
It's a lazy Sunday, and we got stuff to do. What are your Sunday plans?
What made me want to be a writer? I was let go from my job around 7 months pregnant. I wasn't completely happy in the position I was working, but it was familiar. I'd been doing it for 13 years. We crunched the numbers and decided three kids in daycare would be bananas expensive.
I'll be launching the third book in the Lazarus City series later this month 🙌 One more to go before my first series is a wrap.
