This might seem silly, but my book had a hold request at the library! Meaning, more than one person wants to read it. I happened to stop by today to see if I could find it on the shelf and when I couldn't I figured it was at another branch. But no! Someone is reading it!
That's right. I'm on chapter 5 and I'm already crying. I switch up my genres quite often. How about you? I'm always a sucker for stories that tie people to the land. Maybe it's because I have such a strong connection to gardening the outdoors myself.
Fell down the steps with a cup of coffee and a basket of laundry. I was on my way to work on copy edits for Sour Moon. See how dangerous #writerlife can be?
I have been waiting for a copy of this book from the library since January! Tonight, I read.
I'm the apple to your tree. You've taught me so much and I'm forever grateful for every moment. Even the ones where we disagree and need our space. I have a voice because I've heard you unashamed to use yours. I plant a garden because I see you get your hands dirty every year without fail. You were the only person I knew who took bags of books from the library and on vacation. The beach is both of our happy places, followed by the woods. You make the best lasagna and homemade pasta. Chef kisses! To my mama, I love you, and Happy Mother's Day! XOXO
May the 4th be with you! Best Starwars film? Return of the Jedi. One word, EWOKS!
