How would you behave if you were the best in the world at what you do?
For this question of the day, I instantly go a little Lex Luther, I can’t lie there’s a bit of evil lurking deep inside of me. Power would be so nice but in the movies, it always seems to come back to bite you. So maybe instead of turning evil and trying to take over the world, I would teach those that want to learn what it is I’m best at. Isn’t that what so many of us do already? We write self-help books, mentor, connect with the community and people with similar interests.
Perhaps we aren’t the BEST at something but we still hold a good deal of knowledge. Advice worth listening to. Lessons learned are worth sharing.
Share your knowledge, it could make a big difference in someone’s life without you even knowing.

First question – who told you that you weren’t the best in the first place?

Oh plenty. Subtle at times, other times not so much. I had someone beta read for me and ask if English was my first language. That was a more direct blow and Probably the worst of them. Often I take criticism well but not when it’s meant to be hurtful.

Hurtful is hurtful. They need to look at themselves don’t they? Obviously we can all be better at everything we do, but being the best you that you can be – job done š
