I am so excited to give this series to my niece on her birthday! I loved the Immortal Instruments series and read all of the books during maternity leave (over three years ago). And while I did find Clary to be a bit annoying, the supporting characters completely enchanted me. This YA fantasy is full of angles, demons, vampires, werewolves, and secret worlds. A fast pace storyline kept me pushing through all 6 books. It might be the longest series I’ve ever read .

What’s the longest series you’ve read? Harry Potter? I’ve never picked it up myself.

There’s something very special about being able to read someone and than find them the perfect book.
